On September 7th, 2021, TETC held a one-day translation workshop at Artscape Gibraltar Point. Ten translators, writers, and artists participated in workshops engaging with Paul Celan's early work and with the landscapes and soundscapes of Toronto Island. Participants collaborated and created hybrid experimental translations incorporating a variety of media. Homesenseaccent into Plushblugginsfolk is a compilation of the outcomes generated by Sami Alwani, Thomas Ayouti, Max Chandler, Anastasia Harovska, Jessica Moore, Julia Morin, Lawrence Rutherford, Marc Serpa Francoeur, Feliks Tripp, and Austin Vaza.
(TETC would like to thank the Humanities Research Institute, Brock University, for supporting this project.)
